Mar del Plata authorities reported receiving 60 calls on the emergency line due to adverse weather conditions on Tuesday. The storm caused 35 trees and 20 utility poles to fall, as well as the destruction of two roofs. According to the Argentine News Agency, strong winds were the main cause of complications, particularly in the southern part of Buenos Aires and its suburbs. The city of Mar del Plata was also heavily affected, with numerous trees down in the area of the old bus terminal. Villa Lugano, in the southern part of the capital, suffered damage and flooded streets.
